OPENING OF THE 6TH OFFICE IN WUHAN
On 30 September 2024, it was official: the InterGest China branch in Wuhan was opened with a small ceremony, marking another important milestone in the company's growth on Chinese mainland. After Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Kunshan, Wuhan is now the sixth branch of InterGest China.
Sam Yuan, Managing Director, explains the expansion step: "Wuhan is the capital of Hubei province and one of the most dynamic cities in the centre of the country and is therefore crucial for our own growth. We just had to go there - at least that's how we see it. In terms of gross domestic product (GDP), Wuhan currently ranks 7th in China and is not only an important industrial location, but also a scientific centre and a comprehensive transport hub for our country. Wuhan's geographical advantage and infrastructure development make the city an ideal location to meet the increasing demand for foreign investment services in this region."
The new office is located in the "Wuhan Sino-German Industrial Park", an important platform for Sino-German cooperation that was established in December 2019 - only three months after a historic visit by former German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The park is home to more than 60 overseas companies focusing on industries such as new energy vehicles, smart manufacturing, electronic information technology and advanced logistics. This ecosystem is a perfect fit for InterGest China, which offers professional services to help these companies enter the Chinese market and succeed.
Sam Yuan is convinced: "With our new office in Wuhan, we can offer foreign companies our comprehensive back-office services even better, and it will play a central role in promoting closer economic cooperation between Germany, other European countries and Central China.
